The Word on the Street

"Goin’ to the Racetrack is just plain fun - it's sitting out on the porch steps sipping lemonade on a hot summer day, it's laughing and joking with friends, and most of all it's good times and good music. Take a CD packed with ten original songs, an accomplished bluesman with impeccable timing and an awesome understated blues voice with ex-cellent slide guitar playing and harp blowing and you have the makings of a great blues CD."
- Pixie DeArmond, Louisiana Local Magazine May 2006

"Good material, sincere, authentic, personal blues."
- Michel Dubois «Rue D’Auteuil» CKRL-fm, Quebec City, CANADA" April 2006

" [It's] music - specifically blues music - that's in his blood."
- Lou Mumford, South Bend Tribune Michigan Edition May 31, 2006
